The answer is defensive end John Thierry. The Bears drafted Thierry with the 11th overall pick in the 1994 draft. He played linebacker for the Alcorn State Braves, and was switched to defensive end upon his arrival to the NFL.
Thierry played 5 years for the Bears and registered 12.5 sacks and started 28 games. He ended his pro career in 2002 with the Atlanta Falcons. He also played for the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers.
