Chicago Bears Hall of Fame defensive end Doug Atkins passed away yesterday in Tennessee at the age of 85. Mr. Atkins played for the Bears for 12 years and was a member of the 1963 World Championship team. He also played for the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints. He made the Pro Bowl 8 times, and was named MVP of the Pro Bowl in 1958. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1982. Condolences go out to his family and friends.
